..your purpose according to your gates
Gate 6: Conflict
6 is the Gate of Conflict. You are here to teach us about the balance of emotional waves and interpersonal relationships. You are a master of emotional clarity, conflict resolution, and discernment.
You are here to show us that conflict is a natural part of life and that it can be a catalyst for growth, transformation, and greater understanding. You help us to navigate through emotional friction and come out on the other side with greater clarity and understanding.
You are a peacemaker, but you are also a truth-teller. You know that sometimes we need to have conflict to get to the truth, to clear the air, and to move forward. You help us to see both sides of an issue and find a solution that works for everyone involved.
You are a powerful ally to anyone who is going through a difficult time in their life. You can hold space for their emotions, to help them to process their experiences and to find their way back to peace.
Here are some tips for Gate 6:
- Pay attention to your emotional waves. You are very sensitive to emotions, both your own and the emotions of others. Learn to recognize your triggers and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
- Be discerning about who you let into your life. You are not meant to be with everyone. Trust your gut and choose people who are aligned with your values and who support your growth.
- Use conflict as an opportunity to learn and grow. Don't be afraid to have difficult conversations. Conflict can be a powerful catalyst for change and transformation.
Gate 36: Crisis
Whew! Conflict, now crisis? It can sound like a lot, but hear me out.
You are the one who is drawn to the unknown, to the dark night of the soul. You are the one who is not afraid to face your shadow self and to emerge transformed.
You are a powerful catalyst for change, and you often find yourself amid crisis. This is not because you are drawn to chaos, but because you are drawn to the potential for growth and transformation that lies within every challenge.
You have a deep capacity for compassion and empathy, and you can see the humanity in everyone, even those who are struggling. You are a natural healer, and you are drawn to helping others through their crises.
Your journey is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. You are here to learn and grow, and to help others do the same. You are a powerful force for good in the world, and you are making a difference
With that.. let me remind you:
- You are not alone in your darkness. We all have a shadow self that we must face and integrate.
- Your crises are not punishments. They are opportunities for growth and transformation.
- Trust your intuition. It will guide you through the dark and into the light.
Gate 15: Extremes
You are here to embrace your wildness and to march to the beat of your drum. You are a lover of diversity and have a deep understanding of the rhythms of life.
You are not meant to conform to a daily routine or a set schedule. Your energy is fluid and accepting, and you thrive on new experiences. You are here to learn to accept your extremes and to have compassion for the extremes in others.
Gate 15 is about allowing the priorities in your life to shift from one extreme to the next with radical self-acceptance.
Outwardly facing, you are here to emanate a love for diversity within humanity. The more you embrace your extremes, the more you can embrace the differences in others. If you don't embrace your own extremes and diversity, it is harder to embody the love of diversity.
Here are some tips for living in alignment with your Gate 15 energy:
- Honor your rhythms and seasons. Don't try to force yourself into a routine that doesn't fit your natural flow.
- Be open to new experiences and people. Embrace the world around you.
- Feel free to express your true self, even if it is different from what others expect.
Remember, this gate is one of acceptance. It's not an excuse to justify bad behaviors.
Gate 10: The Self
Gate 10 makes you the Self Love North Star, the one who lights the way for others to find their inner glow. You're the queen of self-acceptance, the master of self-appreciation, and the embodiment of self-love.
When you're in alignment, you're being true to yourself and following your heart. But when find yourself in people-pleasing and codependent situations, it's time to reevaluate.
This is the gate of Self-Love, and one of the most important gates in the Human Design system. You're the one who helps people to see their worth and beauty and to live in alignment with their true selves.
Your methods are subtle, and you often lead people on a journey of self-discovery that they didn't even know they were on.
One of your biggest strengths is your ability to see the good in everyone. You have a way of making people feel loved and accepted, even when they're at their worst.
But you also have a bit of a dark side. You can be very judgmental and critical, especially of yourself. You often have a hard time accepting yourself for who you are, flaws, and all.
But that's all part of your journey. You're here to learn to love and accept yourself unconditionally. And once you do that, you can teach others to do the same.
