Sounds kinda intense, right? Well, it is, but in a good way. (sort of)

It's like the universe handed you a VIP ticket to the most unpredictable ride imaginable.

This cross with its roots in the Sacral, Root, and Throat Centers is all about navigating the unpredictable nature of life. Those surprise twists and turns? The sudden shifts that leave you wondering, "WTF just happened?" Yeah, that's kinda your thing.

You're here to embrace the unexpected, find meaning in the chaos, and to maybe even, you know, enjoy the ride.

Ok, but why the Right Angle Cross?

In Human Design, your Incarnation Cross is like your soul's purpose, the big "why" behind your existence. It's determined by the Gates that are activated in your chart at the moment of your birth. Think of it as your celestial job description, but way cooler than anything you'll find on LinkedIn.

Now, there are three main types of Incarnation Crosses: Right Angle, Left Angle, and Juxtaposition. Each has a different flavor and focus.

You, bestie, have a Right Angle Cross. This means your life theme is deeply personal. It's about your individual journey, your inner growth, and the lessons you learn through your own experiences.

Left Angle Crosses, on the other hand, are all about relationships and how you impact others. Juxtaposition Crosses are the rarest and tend to have a fixed, predetermined feel to them.

The Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected is all about, well, the unexpected (duh!). It's formed by these four specific Gates:

• Gate 27: Nourishment (Sacral Center)
• Gate 28: The Game Player (Sacral Center)
• Gate 41: Decrease (Root Center)
• Gate 31: The Alpha (Throat Center)

I'll break down the specifics of each gate in a sec but for now, just know that they all contribute to this overarching theme of becoming a master at finding meaning in the midst of chaos.

If you haven't already, ditch the idea of a predictable life.

Even more so if you have a 3 or 6 in your profile. This cross is like a cosmic game of roulette, except instead of numbers, you're spinning through experiences, lessons, and unexpected opportunities.

Think of yourself as a badass adventurer, always ready for the next plot twist. You're here to embrace the unknown, navigate the unexpected with a sense of curiosity and resilience, and to emerge from each experience transformed.

But it's not all chaos and surprises. Your cross also carries a deep sense of purpose and meaning. You're here to nourish and support others (Gate 27), to dive deep into life's mysteries (Gate 28), to initiate new beginnings (Gate 41), and to influence and guide those around you (Gate 31).

I wont bullshit you though, having the Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected wont always be fun. Life will be throwing you a fair amount of curveballs and at times you might feel like you're constantly adapting, adjusting, and figuring things out on the fly.

And it can feel so. fucking. exhausting.

🝎 Burning the candle at both ends:

That Gate 27 energy can have you pouring so much into others that you forget to nourish yourself. When you feel that urge to over-give, it's a reminder to set boundaries and prioritize your own well-being.

🝎 Getting lost in the "what ifs":

Gate 28's intensity can lead to overthinking and existential spirals. That fear of life lacking purpose can be a thorn in your side. When you get lost in existential angst, it's a call to connect with your intuition and trust that your life has meaning, even if you can't see it right away.

🝎 Chasing fantasies:

Gate 41's pull towards new experiences can have you chasing illusions instead of appreciating the present moment. Don't be an addict for the dream. When you find yourself chasing fantasies, it's a nudge to ground yourself in reality and appreciate the beauty of the present moment.

🝎 Leading from a place of ego:

Gate 31's shadow can tempt you to dominate instead of collaborating. When you feel yourself leaning too far into your ego, take a step back, listen to what the tribe is telling you, and refocus your efforts to lead from a place of collaboration and empathy.

The Challenges

• Restlessness. That Gate 41 energy can make you crave new experiences and feel a bit impatient with routine. It feels like an incessant pressure to experience new feelings. 
• Uncertainty. The constant unexpected shifts can make it hard to plan or feel secure, even when your intuition is whispering directions.
• Overwhelm: Sometimes, it's just a lot to handle, babe. All those surprises can be draining, even for a resilient soul like you.
• Feeling Different: You might feel like you don't quite fit in with the conventional crowd. Not everyone gets your need to embrace the unknown. They might see you as flighty or inconsistent when really, you're just following your unique flow.

The Gates!

These are just the general themes of the gates but each of these Gates has its own unique expression based on the line it represents in your Human Design chart.

Gate 27 has the theme of "caring," but the lines are like different variations on that theme. For example, Gate 27.1 expresses as putting your own oxygen mask on first. Gate 27.3 will, through trial and error, learn how to discern which situations truly need their energy and which ones are just energy vampires in disguise.

• Location: Sacral Center (the engine room of life force energy, sexuality, and all things sustainable)
• Key Themes: Caring, nurturing, providing, protecting – basically, keeping shit alive and thriving.
• How it Plays Out: You're wired to support and care for others. It's in your DNA, babe. You're a natural giver, always looking for ways to nourish and protect those around you.
• Significance: This is your Conscious Sun Gate, the big kahuna of your purpose and identity. It's the energy you're here to master and embody. Own it.

Gate 28 – The Game Player (Sacral Center)

• Location: Sacral Center (yup, still that powerhouse!)
• Key Themes: Facing challenges, seeking meaning, taking risks – basically, living life on the edge, but with a purpose.
• How it Plays Out: You're a fearless explorer, always seeking deeper meaning and purpose in life's adventures. For you, there's no such thing as a challenge, it's just an opportunity to level up.
• Significance: This is your Conscious Earth Gate, your anchor in the storm. It helps you stay grounded and connected to your core values as you navigate the twists and turns of your journey.

Gate 41 – Decrease (Root Center)

• Location: Root Center (the source of adrenaline, pressure, and that "gotta go" feeling)
• Key Themes: Fantasy, dreams, desires, new beginnings – basically, the spark that ignites your soul's evolution.
• How it Plays Out: You're a visionary with a vivid imagination and a hunger for new experiences. You're always looking ahead, seeking fresh starts and exciting adventures.
• Significance: This is your Unconscious Sun Gate, operating beneath the surface of your awareness. It's the energy that fuels your desires and drives you towards new experiences.

Gate 31 – The Alpha (Throat Center)

• Location: Throat Center (the loudspeaker of your soul)
• Key Themes: Leadership, influence, guidance – basically, the voice that inspires and directs.
• How it Plays Out: You're a natural leader, with a knack for inspiring and guiding others. You're here to use your voice to create positive change and rally the troops.
• Significance: This is your Unconscious Earth Gate, a hidden talent that might surprise even you. It's the energy that connects you to your community and the collective, giving you the potential to make a real impact.

 Weaving the Blueprint: How These Gates Work Together

Gate 27 and Gate 28 are like the dynamic duo of your Sacral Center. Gate 27 brings the nurturing, caring vibes, while Gate 28 adds a dash of risk-taking and a thirst for deeper meaning. Together, they create this beautiful balance between compassion and courage, allowing you to navigate life's challenges with both heart and resilience.

Meanwhile, over in your Root Center, Gate 41 is stirring things up with its dreamy, imaginative energy. It's the driving force behind your desire for new experiences and fresh starts.
